What we use
YABS uses minimal cookies — only what's needed to make the application flow work. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
Essential cookies
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in during the application flow. Cleared when you close the browser.
- CSRF token cookie — security; prevents cross-site request forgery.
- Application progress cookie — remembers which step of /apply you're on.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies. No personal data, no IP storage, no third-party sharing. We can see aggregate page views and traffic sources only.
Third-party services
When you reach the payment step, Stripe and Telr set their own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing. These are required for payment to work.
Your choices
You can clear cookies via your browser settings at any time. Doing so will end your application session — you'll need to start over. Essential cookies cannot be disabled while using the application.
