What we add on

Five most-asked-for extras.

Add-ons are the services every Dubai or Abu Dhabi mainland company eventually needs after licence issuance: Ministry of Economy trademark registration, monthly bookkeeping aligned to FTA corporate tax filing, Dubai DED liquidation when winding down, and physical or virtual office space matching your activity's office requirement rules under the post-2023 DED policy.

Frequently asked questions

How long does UAE trademark registration take?

From submission to registration: 6–9 months end-to-end through the Ministry of Economy. Initial filing review takes 30–60 days; if accepted, it publishes in the Trademark Bulletin for 30 days for opposition; if no opposition, registration certificate issues in 90–120 days. Trademark protection runs 10 years from registration date.

What does monthly bookkeeping cost in Dubai?

Tiered by transaction volume. Up to 50 transactions/month: AED 1,200–1,800. 50–200 transactions: AED 2,000–3,500. 200+: AED 4,000+. All YABS bookkeeping is FTA-aligned for corporate tax filing — quarterly VAT-ready files included where applicable. Year-end audit support available separately.

How do I close down a UAE mainland company?

Liquidation through Dubai DED requires: (1) board resolution to liquidate, (2) appointment of an approved liquidator, (3) 45-day public notice in two newspapers, (4) final liquidator's audit, (5) DED licence cancellation, (6) MOHRE labour file closure, (7) GDRFA visa cancellation for all sponsored visas, (8) bank account closure. Total timeline: 60–90 days. Cost AED 8,500–18,000.

Can I run my mainland company from a virtual office?

For some activities yes, for others no. Post-2023 Dubai DED policy requires dedicated physical office for trading, food service, retail, real estate brokerage, and most regulated activities. Professional and consultancy licences typically still accept flexi-desk or virtual office with Ejari registration. Activity-by-activity rules — confirm before signing a virtual office contract.
